Collection: Why ePortfolios?

ePortfolios and Immigrants

Skilled immigrants represent an enormous waste of human capital due to barriers involving qualification recognition, localized work experience, language and culture.

ePortfolio can be a transformative learning tool for these highly motivated individuals, for:

  • Initial assessment and triage
  • Gap learning and qualification preparation
  • Transition to the workforce
  • Early career advancement to accelerate their return to an appropriate level of employment, based on education and experience

Please note: these pages are provided for the purpose of general information about ePortfolios applied in different contexts, based on wide-ranging research of public sources and a variety of technology solutions.
